Education

Brandon attended high school at Shawnee Mission Northwest in Shawnee, Kansas. He was named in Who's Who Among American High School Students and graduated in 2000.

Following graduation, Brandon attended the University of Kansas. He began a major in computer science but changed his focus to philosophy after his first year. Brandon was listed on the Dean's List and focused on logic and philosophy of ethics, with minor areas of studies in Japanese language and East Asian culture. Brandon graduated in 2004 and began working full-time and traveling shortly thereafter.

In 2007, Brandon decided to take a different focus and began studying for the American College of Sports Medicine's personal training program. In 2008 he passed the Certified Personal Trainer exam with flying colors. Brandon currently holds ACSM-CPT certification alongside CPR and AED.

Professional Life

Brandon is proud to be a very well-rounded individual. He has at times held titles that have included engineer, teacher, director, manager, and mechanic.

From 2002-2004 Brandon supervised a nutrition study at the University of Kansas. His knowledge of nutrition and the scientific method contributed to his working life. Following graduation, Brandon traveled the United States. He managed a gym in North Carolina, became an adventure guide in Arizona, and spent time as an engineer in Texas. Ultimately he decided to pursue a goal he had held since early in his college career, and Brandon moved to South Korea.

Brandon spent the years from 2005-2008 teaching English in a small town in Korea. The skills Brandon learned in Korea are innumerable.

After returning to America, Brandon became a manager at a local motorcycle shop. Shortly thereafter he found work in an escalating series of positions in the fitness industry. Beginning as an aerobics instructor, Brandon soon became a personal trainer. Some months after becoming a trainer, Brandon was promoted and charged with running the entire training business, and was very successful in changing lives through fitness.

Currently, Brandon is working in the technical theater industry while volunteering for the local fire department and working hard to leverage his skills into a long-term growth position.
